Default Role-Playing & PvP-Only

Hey guys, I am just wondering what is the difference between these 2 types.

If I level up a role-playing char up to 20, can I PvP with it?

What is the main difference between these 2 types?

Do the highest-ranking guilds have mostly PvP-Only chars in their guild?

Thanks in advance!

- an RP character, can go anywhere in the game, a PvP character is limited to the PvP areas.

- an RP character starts at level 1, and must be levelled up, have weapons and armor provided to them, etc, a PvP character starts at level 20 and you get to make their armor and equipment for free.

most guilds have a mix of both in their pvp battles

So an RP Char can also PvP right? Is it better to PvP with an RP char or a PvP-Only char?

If you don't spend dozens of hours equipping and preparing your PvE character, PvP using PvP characters is superior.

RP char can pvp yes.

The advantage is totally to a PvP made char in relation to pvping of course. They have access to any weapon mods, runes, skills, etc you have unlocked.

Getting a RP character all the skills, weapons, armor setups, etc that a PvP character has immedient access to is expensive and time consuming, but some players prefer it just to look cooler like "I'm so cool, I PvP with my RP character, look at my fancy stuff"

They sure can. Just take them to the Battle Isles, select PvP of your choice, and kick back and have fun.

It's arguably best to go with a PvP-only character once you've unlocked sufficient skills and upgrades for your weapons. This is mainly from a money standpoint. On your RP character you'd have to buy new suits of armour/weapons/runes/etc to try a different build, while, on a PvP character, you can just give them weapons/runes/skills and jump right in.
